Supports SVG, PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, and Adobe Illustrator (.ai/PDF) files. SVG and .ai shapes come in as real, editable paths — not flattened images.

.ai files must be saved with Illustrator's "PDF Compatible" option. Live text and embedded raster images inside the file aren't imported yet.

• V Select tool — click to select, drag handles to resize/rotate, drag empty space to marquee-select.
• A Direct Selection — click a path to edit its anchor points. Drag an anchor or its curve handles, shift-click or marquee to multi-select, Del to remove selected anchors.
• Every sharp corner shows a small amber handle — drag it inward to round that corner. Select several corners (shift-click, marquee, or Ctrl+A for all of them) first, then drag any one handle to round them together in a single motion.
• P Pen tool — click for a corner point, click-drag for a smooth curve point (Shift = 45°, Alt while dragging breaks the handle, hold Space while dragging to move the point). Click the point you just placed to make it a corner, or drag from it for a new handle. Click (or drag) on the first point to close the path; Enter, Esc or Ctrl-click away leaves it open. Ctrl+Z while drawing removes the last point. The Pen stays active for the next path.
• Pen on existing paths — click an open path's end point to keep drawing it, or end on another open path's end point to join them. On a selected path, the Pen adds a point on a segment and deletes a point you click. The cursor shows what a click will do (× new, / continue, o close, ^ corner, + add, − delete).
• M Rectangle, L Ellipse, \ Line, W Blend, Shift+M Shape Builder, Shift+C Anchor Point — the same keys as Illustrator (R and O also work).
• T Text — click on the canvas, then type.
• Shear tool — select an object first, then drag to slant it (Shift constrains to 45° steps). Alt+click, or double-click the tool, opens the Shear dialog for an exact angle, axis, live preview and an option to shear a copy instead of the original.
• Del Delete the current selection. Right-click anything for a menu of the commands below.
• Ctrl+C / X / V copy, cut and paste (copies also paste into other apps as SVG). Ctrl+Shift+V pastes in place, Ctrl+F / B in front / behind. Ctrl+D duplicates — after an Alt-drag copy it repeats the same offset (step and repeat).
• Ctrl+G group, Ctrl+Shift+G ungroup. Click a group to select it all; double-click to work inside it (Esc to leave).
• Transform panel — type exact X, Y, width, height and angle (the link keeps proportions), flip, or rotate 90°. Align and distribute to the selection or the artboard.
• Stroke — caps, corners and dashed or dotted lines. Gradients — set a stop's location, the angle, reverse it, or drag a stop off the ramp to remove it.
• Ctrl+] / [ bring forward / send backward, Ctrl+2 lock, Ctrl+3 hide (add Alt to unlock / show all).
• N Pencil, B Paintbrush, Shift+B Blob Brush (filled strokes that merge with the same colour) — draw freely; size and smoothness are in the bar at the top. [ / ] change the brush size.
• Shift+E Eraser rubs out parts of shapes (only the selected ones, if any). C Scissors split a path where you click. The Knife (in the Eraser group) cuts shapes in two along the line you drag. Hold the tool button to switch between them.
• Object panel — Ctrl+7 clips everything selected to the top shape (Ctrl+Alt+7 releases), Ctrl+8 makes a compound path where overlaps become holes (Ctrl+Alt+8 releases), plus Offset Path, Outline Stroke, Simplify and Recolor Artwork.
• Type — alignment, tracking and line height (Shift+Enter for a new line). Select text and a path, then Type on Path to run the text along it. Create Outlines (Ctrl+Shift+O) turns text into shapes using the real font.
• Select a placed image to Image Trace it into editable colour shapes.
• Ctrl+R rulers — drag from a ruler to make a guide, drag it back to remove it; shapes snap to guides. Ctrl+; hides guides. Swatches keep your colours: click to fill, Shift-click for stroke.
• Your drawing saves itself in this browser as you work and reopens next time. Use the new-drawing button to start over (it can be undone).
• Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z Undo / redo.
• H Hand — drag to pan; or hold Space with any tool, or drag with the middle mouse button. Scroll to pan, Shift+scroll sideways, two fingers on touch screens. Double-click the Hand to fit the artboard.
• Z Zoom — click to zoom in, Alt-click out, drag a box to zoom to it (or hold Ctrl+Space). Ctrl/Alt+scroll or pinch to zoom smoothly. Ctrl++ / Ctrl+− zoom in/out, Ctrl+0 fit artboard, Ctrl+Alt+0 fit all, Ctrl+1 100%. Type any zoom (3%–6400%) in the zoom box.
• Ctrl+A select all, Ctrl+Shift+] / [ bring to front / send to back. On a Mac use Cmd for Ctrl and Option for Alt.
• Red smart guides appear while drawing or dragging when an edge, corner or center lines up with another object. Hold Alt to temporarily disable snapping.
• Import button in the toolbar — bring in an SVG, a PNG/JPG/GIF/WebP image, or an Adobe Illustrator (.ai/PDF) file. SVG and .ai shapes come in as real editable paths, not flattened images. You can also paste directly from your clipboard.
• Everything you draw exports as real SVG — download it, or export a flattened PNG.
