Free AI Object Remover — Erase Anything from Photos
Brush over people, objects, text or watermarks and the AI fills the space with matching background in seconds. Or extend your photo beyond its edges to make it square, portrait or widescreen. Full resolution, no watermark — and your photo never leaves your device.
How to remove objects from a photo
Drop or paste a JPG, PNG or WebP photo. It stays on your device — nothing is uploaded.
Paint over the object, person, text or watermark — a little past its edges, including its shadow. Use the box tool for straight-edged things like text and logos.
Click Remove and the AI fills it in. Repeat for more objects, hold Compare to see the original, undo anything you don’t like, then download in full resolution.
What you can remove
Frequently asked questions
How do I remove an object from a photo?
Add your photo, brush over the object, person, text or watermark you want gone, and click Remove. The AI fills the area with matching background in a couple of seconds. Repeat for more objects, then download.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model downloads once to your browser and every edit runs on your own device. Your photo is never sent anywhere.
Why does the tool download a model first?
Removing objects convincingly needs a real AI model, not a filter. The first time you use the tool it downloads a compact model (about 62 MB) that your browser keeps, so later visits start instantly.
How fast is it?
On most computers and recent phones it uses your graphics card and each removal takes about 1–3 seconds. Older devices run it on the processor, which takes 10–20 seconds per edit.
Will my photo lose quality?
No. The tool works on the area around what you brushed and puts the result back into your original photo, so the download keeps your full resolution (up to 4096 pixels per side) and untouched areas stay exactly as they were.
How does Extend (uncrop) work?
Drag any edge outward or choose a shape like square, 4:5, 9:16 or 16:9, and the AI paints the new area to match the photo. Small extensions of up to about 30% per side look most natural.
What works best?
Objects on fairly simple backgrounds — skies, walls, grass, water, sand, floors. Brush a little beyond the object’s edges and include its shadow. Very busy backgrounds are harder for any AI fill.
Does the download have a watermark?
No watermark, ever. Download as PNG, JPG or WebP.
