Why is my JPG background white instead of transparent?

JPG doesn’t support transparency, so transparent areas need a colour. White is used by default, and you can pick any colour. If you need a see-through background, switch the format to PNG or WebP.

How do I make a JPG at an exact size like 1080×1080?

Choose Size → Fixed and pick a preset such as Instagram post, Story, Open Graph or App icon. “Fit” keeps the whole SVG visible with background around it, “Fill” crops to fill the frame, and “Stretch” forces the exact size.

Can I convert SVG to JPG for print at 300 DPI?

Yes. Choose Size → Print, enter the width in inches, centimetres or millimetres and pick 150, 300 or 600 DPI. The DPI is written into the JPG, so print and layout apps place it at the right physical size.

Why does text or an image look different in my JPG?

Browsers don’t load fonts or images that an SVG links to from outside the file. The converter warns you when it spots this — embed the images and convert text to outlines in your design app for an exact match.
