How do I pixelate part of a picture?

Add your image, choose Selected areas, then drag a box over the face, licence plate or text — or switch to Brush and paint over it. Only the marked areas are pixelated. Drag a box to move it, pull its handles to resize it, and use Eraser to tidy brush strokes.

Is pixelating or blurring safe for hiding passwords and numbers?

Not always. Blurred or lightly pixelated text can sometimes be reconstructed. For passwords, card numbers, addresses and anything that must stay secret, use Solid — it covers the area with a plain colour and nothing underneath survives. For faces, large pixel blocks are fine.

How do I make pixel art from a photo?

Keep Whole image selected, raise the block size, and limit the colours to 32, 16 or 8 (or try the Game Boy palette). Tick “One pixel per block” when you download to get a tiny, true pixel-art file you can scale up in any editor.

Can I undo a mistake?

Yes. Every box, brush stroke and setting change can be undone with the arrows at the top or Ctrl/⌘ + Z, and redone with Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + Z. Hold “Compare” to see the original.

Will the download lose quality or change format?

No. The image keeps its full size, and by default it is saved in its original format — JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG with its transparency. You can also choose PNG, JPG or WebP.

Is my image uploaded?
